John's First Haircut

John got his first haircut this weekend. Here are a few pictures that we'd like to share.

This is his before picture. He's a little nervous...not really sure what's going on.

And here is one during his haircut. He did pretty good. He did giggle a little bit when she used the buzzer on him.

Updates & Happy 9 Months John Henry!

We have been without the internet at home for about a month now...but are back up & running again. I never realized how much I really use it until it was gone!

And...I'm sure everyone was having Kenny & John withdrawals! You need your cute pic fix every now & then!

Both of the boys have been growing & learning new things...at what seems to be lightning speed lately.

Kenny just started pre-K about a month ago. I can't believe he will be in kindergarten next year! Yikes! Anyhow...he is learning all sorts of new things & even teaching us a few things from time to time! He can clearly write his name now & is even starting to read. I can't believe how much he is learning already. He's going to be smarter than his mom & dad real quick!

Here are couple of pics I wanted to share that I took of Kenny recently...they are both from a carnival that we had in our town recently. Kenny was addicted to the Super-Slide...I'm pretty sure he went down that thing at least 10 times!


And...can you believe it, but John Henry is already 9 months old! He is growing so fast. He just got a clean bill of health at his last check-up. He was 23lbs, 20z & 30.25inches...that's 80th percentile for weight & 95th for height...for all of you that care:)

He is also learning new things everyday. He only has 1 tooth so far, but is growing tired of the baby food. He wants what's on our plates. We try to let him have things when we can. This past weekend he enjoyed some pizza crust. He's also given some other snacks a try like...goldfish, graham crackers, & waffles. He really puts his one little tooth to work everyday! He has also really started drinking from his sippy cup lately. He is one thirsty boy!

Some of his other favorite things right now are...

• Kenny...he has always loved his big brother & that has not changed yet!
• Walking around the house...with a little help from Mommy or Daddy
• Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?...is his absolute favorite book. He laughs so hard everytime we read it to him.

Here are a couple of pics I'd like to share of John Henry for now. He just discovered the swing at the park & had such a good time!

Summer Fun 2009

All right guys...I have more pics of my adorable kids. I'm sure you don't enjoy looking at them nearly as much as I do! But...hopefully they will bring a smile to your face.

First...I'll start with a few from Fan-Fest. St. Louis hosted the All-Star Game this year & we were lucky enough to attend Fan-Fest. As you can tell...Kenny had a great time...

The next few I have are from this past weekend. We went down to the creek & had a great time. Here is one of John, just hanging out on the blanket, taking in some fresh air...

The next few are ones of Ken & Kenny jumping off a bridge. Kenny wasn't so sure about it at first, but since Ken went along with him...he decided to go for it. They ended up doing it at least 15 more times after this one...
